What is an “Open-Air” Photo Booth?

An open-air photo booth means you don’t have to squeeze inside a closed-in booth. Instead the open-air concept allows you to comfortably fit large groups of people and quickly get more people in and out of the booth providing you with more fun memories at the end of the night.

How does the booth work?

Grab some friends, pick up a few props, grab the button leash, stand in front of the backdrop, and push the button in your hand. Take a series of hilarious photos, have them automatically shown on the 27″ rear display and share your favorite pictures instantly via E-mail from the accompanying photo kiosk.

How many people can fit in the open-air booth?

Up to 6 people fit comfortably but the record now stands at 18!

How many photos can we take?

There is no limit to the amount of photos taken. Your guests will be given an unlimited amount of sessions within the amount of active time your photo booth is running at the event.

Who will run FOQUS Booth at my event?

One of FOQUS Booth’s passionate photographers will set the booth and make sure your guests are getting stunning photos. Most of the time FOQUS’s founder Josh will run the events. Let’s talk photos or anything else really!

What’s the online gallery?

After each event, we like to upload your photos to the gallery so that your guests can easily view, download, and share them after the event is over. Each gallery is open making it easier for your guests to view or can be password protected for privacy. You and your guests can download all copies free of charge. Or purchase professional prints to display in your home!

Do you watermark your photos?

Definitely not! As much as we love our logo, nothing pains us more than a stunning photo being ruined by a logo. They are your images, not our advertisements.

Do we receive copies of all the images from the photobooth?

Of course! FOQUS Booth’s processing enables us to filter the photos being displayed without actually altering the photos you’ll receive. The files you’ll receive will be in full color as well as black and white so you can decide on the perfect look later.

Where are the prints?

Simply put, nowhere. Instead of individual prints that go missing, FOQUS Booth will stream the photos to a kiosk for you to share via email. That way you can share your photo how you want. Be it Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or any social media platform. You can also print yourself a photo or order professionally printed photos through our site to remind you how awesome the event was.

How are the photos displayed?

FOQUS Booth displays the photo taken on the integrated rear display. And believe us, your guests will crowd around. The sharing kiosk will continuously update as each new photo is taken for you to email yourself a copy.

The pictures look great! How much lighting do you need?

Our minimal lighting setup does not require any extra space. We have a vintage-esque looking flash that attaches to the top just like a camera which makes everyone look incredible!

How much space do you need?

We require 9′ x 9′ x 9′ space with a traditional (3-pronged) power outlet within proximity of the booth.

How long do you need to setup?

Setting up FOQUS Booth is super quick and easy. We can be ready to shoot in minutes. But we usually arrive an hour early just in case.

Color or Black and White?

Black and white is timeless with an elegant feeling. We love how incredible everyone looks in them. With black and white, guests are more likely to be themselves without worrying about blemishes, food in teeth and all the things we love to notice. Trust, your guests will love the way they look and will be thanking you. But we are not opposed to color. If you want color, let’s make it happen!
